After studying at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, California, D'Anne Avner began acting in television and commercials. Now she works as a dialogue coach. Her first series, working with Roseanne Barr, taught her the effectiveness of speaking up.

D'Anne's workshop will help timid writers overcome their fears as they hit not only the most important components that comprises a solid pitch, but learn the skills that go along with selling oneself as well.

As a member of RWA for eight years, a PRO member since 2004, and an active member of her Los Angeles Chapter, she now has seven completed manuscripts and hopes to be published in the near future.

In the couple of ten pitches, her success rate speaks for itself, with requests for ten full manuscripts and six partials.

D'Anne lives in California with her husband of nineteen years and their eleven year old daughter.
